1-Year Limited Warranty on Labour and Craftsmanship
1. Workmanship Guarantee
Repair and Fix guarantees that all labour and craftsmanship provided under the scope of work will be free from defects for a period of one (1) year from the date of project completion. If a defect in craftsmanship appears within this timeframe, Repair and Fix will inspect and repair or correct the defective work at no additional charge to the customer.
2. Scope of Coverage
This warranty covers only the labour performed and direct installation practices executed by Repair and Fix.
3. Exclusions and Limitations
This warranty does not cover:
- Materials & Products: Hardware, fixtures, appliances, or materials supplied by the customer or manufactured by third parties. These are subject solely to any manufacturer warranties.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Everyday use, cosmetic aging, or gradual deterioration.
- Pre-Existing Conditions: Unforeseen structural issues, moisture, mold, rot, or plumbing/electrical defects present prior to work commencing.
- Misuse or Neglect: Damage caused by improper maintenance, customer modifications, accidents, or unauthorized alterations by third parties.
- Acts of God: Damage resulting from severe weather, freezing, fires, floods, or natural disasters.
4. How to Make a Claim
To submit a warranty claim, notify Repair and Fix in writing within thirty (30) days of discovering the defect. Claims must include your original invoice number, project address, and a description or photos of the issue.

1-Year Limited Warranty on materials
1. Material Coverage
Repair and Fix guarantees that materials purchased and supplied directly by our business for your project will be free from physical defects for a period of one (1) year from the installation date. If a covered material fails due to a manufacturing defect within this timeframe, Repair and Fix will facilitate the replacement or repair of the defective item at no additional cost for the replacement material.
2. Scope & Conditions
This warranty applies exclusively to items sourced, purchased, and installed by Repair and Fix and explicitly detailed on the official project invoice.
3. Exclusions & Limitations
This warranty does not cover:
- Customer-Supplied Materials: Any fixtures, hardware, lumber, or products purchased or provided by the client.
- Third-Party Manufacturer Warranties: Items carrying an existing manufacturer warranty (e.g., appliances, smart home devices, power tools) are governed solely by the original manufacturer’s terms. Repair and Fix will assist in providing receipts for client claims where applicable.
- Normal Wear & Tear: Natural aging, minor cosmetic fading, surface scratches, or routine degradation from standard use.
- Environmental & External Damage: Damage caused by extreme weather, moisture/flooding, chemical exposure, fire, structural settling, or pests.
- Misuse & Unauthorized Modifications: Failures resulting from improper maintenance, abuse, overloading, or alterations made by the client or third-party contractors.
4. Claim Process
To file a claim, contact Repair and Fix in writing within fourteen (14) days of noticing the material failure. Please include your original project invoice number, photos of the defective material, and a description of the issue.
